Ascaso Home

Overlooking Biscayne Bay, this residence was designed for one of Miami’s most established gallerists, the founder of Ascaso Gallery. The project reframes the apartment as a spatial extension of a curatorial practice where architecture, furniture, and art operate in quiet alignment.

A custom millwork system was developed to act as a neutral yet intentional backdrop, allowing the collection to stand forward. Furniture was carefully sourced to balance the space, supporting the artwork through proportion, tone, and material rather than drawing focus.

The plan was reimagined through subtle yet impactful interventions, including concealed doors and redefined thresholds that enhance flow and atmosphere. The result is a composed, gallery-like environment that maintains the intimacy of a home.
